Weekend work for BDPL#5

There will be some weekend work at the railroad tracks located at Pacific and Westmoreland. On Saturday, January 22nd, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, January 23rd from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Have a great weekend!

Tree trimming on Bay Rd in Menlo Park

As the BDPL #5 project continues, we will start to trim trees on Bay Rd in Menlo Park this week.

Controlled burns at Edgewood Park

The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection is assisting San Mateo County Parks and the San Francisco PUC with controlled burns at Edgewood Park, which could begin as soon as, January 11.

In general, the burning will take place from 9:30 am – 2 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, through January and February (subject to Air Quality Management District-permitted burn days).

It’s likely that community members, and drivers on Route 280, will see smoke from these controlled burns – there is no cause for alarm and you do not need to report sightings of smoke emanating from Edgewood Park.

BDPL #5 Weekend Work in Menlo Park

Our crews  will continue construction and installation of BDPL #5 at Flood Park in Menlo Park, tomorrow, Saturday,  January 8, 2011.

Flood Park is closed to the public during this time, and will reopen in the Spring.
