Moving toward Woodside Rd

SFPUC contractor has started to clear out the brush and trees on the Right of Way in the area of Poplar Ave and Hess Rd.  They will continue to work in this area and head towards Woodside Road, Locust, Hemlock and past Fleishman Park and Linden park. 
Pipe will be delivered to the SFPUC Right of Way and installed, shortly after the clearing occurs.

Top of the Hill at Hillcrest Drive

We have reached the top of the hill at Hillcrest Drive in Redwood City.  Pipe is being installed and trench has been back filled from Alameda to Esther.

BDPL5 being installed at Esther Lane

Pipeline installation at Esther Lane and are heading toward Hillcrest Rd.  We are also clearing the SFPUC Right of Way of any shrubs and trees starting from Ebener St and Redwood St and heading toward Westmoreland Ave.

We are at Upland Road

We have passed Brewster and are installing pipe near Upland Road, Redwood City.  Next stop is Esther Lane.

We are heading to Upland Rd and Esther Lane

We have crossed Alameda de las Pulgas and are installing pipe past Brewster Ave to Upland Rd and making our way to Esther Lane.

Saturday work in Redwood City!

There are several other places that we are going to be working this Saturday, August 14th.

• We are going to be on Quartz, James and St Francis Streets from 8am to 5pm (off hauling soil)
• On Avenue del Ora from 8am to 5pm (restoring roadway)
• Hawes Elementary School from 8am to 5pm (installing fencing)

Alameda de las pulgas crossing this weekend!

View from Upland Rd

We are crossing Alameda and heading up to Brewster Avenue.  Alameda will be closed to through traffic and "No parking" signs have been posted.  Work will take place this Saturday, August 14th and Sunday, August 15th from 7am to 9pm. 

Saturday work on Ivy Dr at Bellehaven Plaza in Menlo Park

In order to complete construction prior to school starting, SFPUC has been given permission by Menlo Park to complete restoration to Bellehaven Plaza adjacent to Bellehaven Elementary School.  We will be working this Saturday, August 14th from 8:30am to 5:30pm.  We thank all the residents for their patience while we complete construction.

Sat work this weekend!

We will be on Avenue del Ora, at Hawes School and on Jefferson Avenue this Saturday, August 7th from 8 am to 4pm.

Alameda work postponed till weekend of Aug 14th and 15th.

We have been clearing the right of way and heading up toward Esther Lane.  We have postponed the work on Alameda.  Tentatively, it is scheduled for August 14th and 15th.

Avenue del Ora Water Line - UPDATE

While digging in Avenue del Ora in Redwood City today, we inadvertently damaged the water main that supplies water to houses on Avenue del Ora between Jefferson and South Place. We are working with the City of Redwood City to get water restored to your home as quickly as possible. You may experience intermittent water outages while this work continues.

This a great shot of SFPUC right of way in Redwood City.  It shows where stringing of the pipeline has been completed and where we are heading to next.  We are heading up to Esther, which is where I am standing to capture this shot.
